Judy Luther |
Judy has worked with animals her entire life. Growing up in an animal loving home she always had a variety of pets. When she was 8years old, she attended classes at the St. Louis Zoo. She attended every class offered at the zoo, developing a friendship with the curator of education. By the age of 10 she was assisting in education classes and giving tours. Judy has been training dogs for as long as she can remember. Training a wide variety of mixed and pure bred dogs as performing Frisbee dog, an obedience, or rally competition dog or a dog trained to perform in a theater production or commercial shoot. On any given day you can find Judy working on a commercial photo set handling animals for the advertising industry, training Frisbee dogs for a football halftime show, training an animal for a stage production, teaching a family pet good manners, making a presentation to a group of school children on animal safety, or a group of pet owners on dog behavior. As an accomplished Equestrian, Judy has been riding & training for over 20 years, enjoying the sport of reining, cutting and working cow horse. Judy is a certified Equine and Canine Sports Massage Therapist, with clients including the St. Louis Mounted Police Department, and the Purina Incredible Dog Team. |
Judy shares her home with her husband Kevin, three Australian Shepherds and a fancy hooded rat named "Lab" adopted from the lab at Nestle Purina. In addition to the herd of wild, but tame whitetail deer and variety other wildlife that frequent the wooded area behind their home. |

Judy belongs to the following organizations: APDT - Association of Pet Dog Trainers ABMA - Animal Behavior Managment Alliance AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator Wild Candid Survival & Research Center Judy is Co-Founder, head trainer and director of the Missouri Disc Dog Club and supports our planet's health as a member of the National Resource Defense Councel (NRDC). |
