Canine Good Citizen
Puppy S.T.A.R. Program
The
American Kennel Club’s “Canine Good Citizen” and
Puppy S.T.A.R programs are a certification program
that is designed to reward dogs who demonstrate
good manners at home and in the community.
The Canine Good Citizen Program is a
two-part program that stresses responsible pet
ownership for owners and basic good manners for
dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may
receive a certificate from the American Kennel
Club.
Dog Star Trainers are AKC
certified CGC evaluators.
If your group would like to
host a CGC testing event, and require a certified
evaluator, contact Dog Stars to schedule a
certified evaluator.
Cost: $10
per dog (plus expenses)
